Charakteristika:

These sodium hyaluronates are produced by extraction of high molecular weight molecules from rooster combs. The resulting polymer is a large molecular coil with enhanced rheological properties. Because it is a native hyaluronic acid, it has a high degree of biocompatibility. The most important properties of hyaluronic acids are its protecting, lubricating and supporting of delicate cells and tissues. ArtiVisc® and ArtiVisc® Plus form a thin layer without causing compression of delicate cells or tissues.

Indikationen:

ArtiVisc® and ArtiVisc® Plus are for intraocular use only whenever protection, lubricating and supporting of delicate cells or tissues are needed, especially in the following ophthalmic procedures: cataract surgery and IOL implantation glaucoma surgery corneal transplantation anterior segment surgery.
